JOB OBJECTIVE

Concrete Materials Engineer, Building Science Engineer, Technical Sales Person

 PROFILE

I have a combined over 12 years academic and industry experience in structural engineering, managing a variety of structural engineering projects. My speciality is in concrete materials for new construction, and investigating, rehabilitating and retrofiting existing structures that suffer from corrosion,  deterioration and durability problems.

In addition to my MBET degree, I have a master's degree in civil engineering, specializing in structures - concrete materials. Over this period, my time has  been spent on three broad project areas as follows: (1) investigating, repair and retrofiting existing structures (30%) (2) general and speciality concrete  materials for new construction (50%) (3) checking of structural adequacy of existing buildings/structures through the use of non-destructive testing techniques, redesign, loading and then retrofitting (20%).

My currents interests lie in business development, new product development and project management for companies that produce or utilize general and speciality concrete materials for use in new and existing construction through a thorough understanding of the underlying material and environmental  interactions and properties, application of sound engineering principles and extensive laboratory and field testing.
